Terms & Conditions - Kent Eco Tuning
Last Updated: June 10, 2026
Welcome to Kent Eco Tuning. These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of all services, including ECU remapping, software solutions, and vehicle diagnostics provided by Kent Eco Tuning (“The Company”, “We”, “Us”) to the customer (“The Customer”, “You”). By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. Services Provided
1.1 Kent Eco Tuning provides professional ECU remapping, diagnostic services, and software solutions (including AdBlue, EGR, and DPF-related software where applicable).
1.2 Our services are designed to optimize vehicle performance, fuel economy, and drivability. All software is tailored to the specific vehicle provided at the time of service.
2. Vehicle Health & Customer Responsibility
2.1 The Customer confirms that the vehicle is in good mechanical condition and has been maintained according to the manufacturer’s schedule.
2.2 Kent Eco Tuning will perform a basic diagnostic “health check” prior to tuning. This is not a full mechanical inspection.
2.3 The Customer acknowledges that remapping can increase the stress on engine and drivetrain components. Any pre-existing wear or faults in hardware (e.g., turbochargers, injectors, clutches, DPFs) may be highlighted or exacerbated by the tuning process.
3. Warranties
3.1 Software Warranty: Kent Eco Tuning provides a lifetime warranty on the software/map against corruption or defects. If the software is deleted by a main dealer update, we may provide a re-install at a discounted rate or for free at our discretion.
3.2 Mechanical Warranty: No warranty is provided, express or implied, regarding the mechanical components of the vehicle. Kent Eco Tuning is not liable for any mechanical, electrical, or structural failure of the vehicle following the provision of services.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 The total liability of Kent Eco Tuning for any claim arising from the service provided shall be limited to the total price paid by the Customer for that specific service.
4.2 Kent Eco Tuning shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, recovery fees, or car hire costs.
5. Road Legality & MOT Compliance
5.1 Certain software solutions (e.g., DPF/EGR/AdBlue solutions) are intended for off-road or motorsport use only.
5.2 The Customer acknowledges that removing or bypassing emissions control systems is illegal for vehicles used on public roads in the UK and will result in an MOT failure. The Customer accepts full legal responsibility for the use of the vehicle following such modifications.
6. Mobile Service & Call-Out Fees
6.1 If a mobile appointment is booked and the Customer is not present, or the vehicle is in a condition that prevents the service from being carried out (e.g., non-runner), a non-refundable call-out fee of £50 (or as otherwise agreed) will apply.
6.2 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
